Welcome to the webpage of Yantao YANG's group at Department of Mechanics and Engineering Science, College of Engineering, Peking University!

The main research area of our group are turbulent mixing and trasport, and numerical simulation of flows with complex and deformable boundary. For the former, we conducted direct numerical simulations and develop theoretical models to understand the transport properties of turbulent flows. For the latter, we employ immersed-boundary method and explore its applications in hemodynamics and flow control by boundary with motion and/or deformation.
