ASME presents the ‘Sia Nemat-Nasser Early Career Medal’ to Dr. Huiling Duan
The second ASME Materials Division 'Sia Nemat-Nasser Early Career Medal' was presented to Dr Huiling Duan, Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering of the College of Engineering at Peking University. The award was given during the ASME annual meeting held in Lake Buena Vista, FL, November 13-19, 2009. This award is given to recognize research excellence in the areas of experimental, computational, and theoretical mechanics and materials by young investigators who are within 10 years after their Ph.D. degree.
