Our research interests lie at the interface of solid mechanics, applied mathematics, and materials science. We use mathematical tools to understand, predict, and design physical properties, in particular mechanics, of advanced materials and structures. We devote our passion and personality into developing theories that are simple, deep and universal. Ultimately, under the guidance of theory, we aim to put these materials and structures on the table by developing our own experimental facilities and collaborating with experimentalists.
