Post-Doctoral Positions in Turbulence Research

State Key Laboratory for Turbulence and Complex Systems

The State Key Laboratory for Turbulence and Complex Systems (LTCS, http://ltcs.pku.edu.cn/en/) in Peking University seeks outstanding applicants for multiple open positions of International Post-doctoral Research Associates in turbulence. The proposed research involves, but not restricted to, modeling and simulation of turbulence, turbulent combustion, and magnetic hydrodynamics, using innovative theoretical and numerical methodologies.

Peking University, located in Beijing, is the most prestigious university in China and one of the leading research universities in Asia. The LTCS was found by the distinguished scientist Prof. Peiyuan Zhou, who was one of the pioneers of turbulent models. The LTCS focuses on fundamental and applied research on turbulence, and offers the opportunities to pursue cutting edge research in computational fluid dynamics, which are conducted in an interdisciplinary and collaborative atmosphere.

The post-doctoral position is to start as soon as possible, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The appointment is expected to be for two years. Candidates with a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, applied/computational mathematics, or a related area are invited to apply.

本科生科研项目

本课题组欢迎对流体力学、燃烧、编程软件技术感兴趣的本科同学参与相关课题研究。

现有如下本科生科研课题:

(1) 流体力学量子计算
(2) 人工智能与数据科学算法在流体力学中的应用
(3) 柔性体游动中的流体力学问题



硕士、博士研究生

本课题组每年计划招收博士研究生一至两名。研究方向为湍流与转捩、湍流燃烧、涡动力学、计算流体力学。欢迎有流体力学、工程热物理、统计物理、或应用/计算数学知识背景的应往届本科毕业生和研究生参与课题研究。


博士后

本课题组拟招收博士后1-2名,支持申请国家级与北大博雅等博士后资助项目。研究方向为:

(1)可压缩边界层转捩数值模拟与建模

(2)湍流燃烧数值模拟

(3)仿生水下推进实验或数值模拟

(4)流体力学中的量子计算与人工智能方法

(5)湍流、转捩、涡动力学基础研究
